We are unsure of when we will be able to open our doors to everyone but we are sure of one thing – we want you to continue to be a member of the YMCA. Coronavirus Update: 03/16/2020

We at the Le Mars YMCA are committed to the safety and health and wellbeing of all our members and guests that use our facility as well as those participating in any of our classes and events.  As such, with the recent announcement from Governor Reynolds suspending school for four weeks, along with mandates from the Centers for Disease Control and the Iowa Department of Public Health, the YMCA will be closing the facility as of 3:00PM today Monday, March 16th and through Monday, March 30th.  All programs, classes and events are cancelled through this same time period.

As concern of the Coronavirus magnifies, we feel this closure is necessary for the containment and for the reduction of the virus spreading due to the large number of people using our facility. As such, during this closure, additional sanitizing of the facility and all equipment will be done.

The YMCA will continue to assess the situation and use all available resources for future decisions of the reopening of facility and resuming of our programs, classes and events.  We thank you for your understanding in these very unprecedented times.
