Le Mars YMCA is looking to hire a lifeguard for our Indoor Aquatic Center. Looking for a dependable, responsible, safety-oriented person who works weill in both a team environment and alone. This person must be able to perform both lifeguard duties and provide excellent customer service for our members and guests. This is a part-time position which includes weekday 5:30-7:30am and 9:00am-1:00pm shifts, plus occasionally weekday 4:00-7:00pm shift. This position requires a current Red Cross Lifeguard certification or the ability to complete the certification upon hire. Red Cross WSI certification is helpful but not required. After School Program staff
Le Mars YMCA is looking to hire staff for our new after school child care program for kids grades TK-6th grade. This is a part-time position, working on school days 3:15-5:45pm. Looking for someone 18 years old or older with experience working with children. This position will be responsible for supervising children including serving snacks, leading organized activities and games, plus homework help. Part-time Front Desk - Evenings and Weekends
Le Mars YMCA is seeking two to three reliable part-time front desk staff to assist members and guests at the front desk evenings and weekends. Must have excellent customer service skills, basic computer skills and a current First Aid/CPR/AED certification or willing to get certified within the first 6 months of employment. Job duties include greeting all members and guests; being familiar with YMCA membership options, programs available, and facility information; answering phone calls; registering memberships and activities in the computer; supervising the facility; light cleaning; and laundering workout towels.
