Summer Fun Run

5k Run/Walk - Friday, June 16, 2023 8:30 PM

A Summer Fun Run without the heat of the sun! This nighttime 5k is sure to be a sweet time! Get your glow gear on and join us!

The chip-timed, out-and-back race will start and finish at the Olson Cultural Event Center in downtown Le Mars. The route winds through a residential neighborhood and onto a paved trail. Stay for awards, sweet snacks, music and glow-themed fun!

Awards will be announced at 9:30 pm on the Olson Event Center Stage. The top three finishers in each age group for both male and female will receive medals. The top three male and female finishers overall will receive sweet prize bags.

Race Rules: Streets will not be closed. Volunteers will be assisting with directing traffic. Ear buds and headphones are not recommended, use at your own risk. Young children must run with a responsible adult. No dogs. No refunds will be given due to weather, Covid or other unforeseen circumstances if the event is cancelled or changed to virtual. Have fun!
