Water Safety Instructor
Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
We are hiring, mature, enthusiastic, safety-minded individuals who love teaching kids & adults.
WSI's (Swim Instructors) teach swimming skills in a safety-focused environment and drowning prevention skills.
Training Dates & Times:
Spring Classes will be announced in January.
An online portion must be completed.
Minimum of 6 Students.
Minimum age of 16 years old.
Registration:
- Free if you work for the Le Mars YMCA

Pre-Requisite skills to be completed on the first day:
- 25 Yard Freestyle
- 25 Yard Backstroke
- 25 Yard Breaststroke
- 25 Yard Butterfly
- 25 Yard Sidestroke
- 25 Yard Elementary Backstroke
- 1 Minute Tread without hands.
- Deadline is to be determined.
