Water Safety Instructor
Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
We are hiring, mature, enthusiastic, safety-minded individuals who love teaching kids & adults.
WSI's (Swim Instructors) teach swimming skills in a safety-focused environment and drowning prevention skills.
Training Dates & Times:
- May 20: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 21: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 22: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 23: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 24: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 28: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
An online portion must be completed May 20.
Minimum of 6 Students.
Minimum age of 16 years old.
Registration:
- Free if you work for the Le Mars YMCA
- May 20: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 21: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 22: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 23: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 24: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
- May 28: 4:30 - 8:30 P.M.
An online portion must be completed May 20.

- 25 Yard Freestyle
- 25 Yard Backstroke
- 25 Yard Breaststroke
- 25 Yard Butterfly
- 25 Yard Sidestroke
- 25 Yard Elementary Backstroke
- 1 Minute Tread without hands.
- Deadline is May 2, 2024.
