Summer Day Camp
There is no better place for kids to connect, make new friends, try new things, and discover their potential.
We look forward to meeting campers and have a safe, fun summer!
AGES: 5-12 years old (select the grade they will be entering in the fall of 2025 )
COST: $165/week. ($15 deposit due per week at registration). The remaining amount can be paid in full or will be taken out of your billing method the Friday prior to the start of the camp week.
REGISTRATION: Opened 2/3/2025. Can be done online or at the YMCA. All paperwork must be completed and turned in by April 1, 2025. You can print out needed paperwork below or stop by the YMCA for copies. You are not fully registered until we have all the paperwork and a billing method on file.
DROP-OFF: Between 7:30-8:00 AM. PICK-UP: By 5:00 PM (late pick-ups will acquire a fee)
Classrooms: Room 1: 4th-5th Grade (max 26 kids); Room 2: K-1st Grade (max 16 kids); Room 3: 2nd-3rd Grade (max 40 kids).

Financial Assistance
Our mission is to make our facility, programs and services available to everyone in our community. Every single person deserves the opportunity for greater well-being. That’s why we offer income-based program assistance (Up to 50% off) to those who qualify. The application will need to be completed on an annual basis. You can fill out the application online, print the forms out, or stop by the Y to pick them up. It may take up to a week to hear back- you can register and pay the deposit/week or you can wait to hear back before you sign your child up for camp.
Payment & Cancelation Policies
If you need to cancel a registration please email our Camp Director (kristan@lemarsymca.org) or call the Y at 712-546-6655. When registering for camp you must pay the $15 non-refundable & non-transferable deposit for each week you want your child to attend. This deposit will hold your spot. The remaining amount from the weekly fee is paid automatically with the billing method on file on the Friday before the week of care. If you need to cancel 14 days prior to week of care, a full refund will be issued less the $15 deposit. If you need to cancel under 7 days prior to week of care, a 75% refund will be issued less the $15 deposit. Non-attendance does not entitle a refund. No refunds or adjustments will be granted for partial weeks missed due to illness, vacation or other issues.

More Summer Day Camp Information:
- $15 deposit required for each week due at registration. This amount will be take out of the weekly program rate. The $15 deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE!
- Kids will be participating in daily crafts, games, physical activity, and swimming.
- Each week kids will be enjoying field trips to fun places- both locally and out of town.
- Bring comfortable walking shoes- we often head to local parks or other sites for some summer fun.
- Afternoon snacks will be provided by the YMCA.
- Each camper needs to bring their own sack lunch, water bottle and sunscreen each day!
- YMCA Camp is offered in a group setting. We are able to provide some accommodations, however we are unable to provide one-on-one care or attention.
- All campers must be potty-trained.
SUMMER 1/2 DAY CAMPS
Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Y Members $50, Community $60.
All camps take place at the YMCA and are open to any kids ages 5-12 years old. Daily snacks are provided by the YMCA. Sign up for one or all 6! Each week includes themed crafts, snacks and activities. Questions: info@lemarsymca.org or call the YMCA at 712-546-6655

ANIMAL PLANET: June 2-6, 2025
Calling all animal lovers! Campers will spend the week celebrating wildlife, from farm animals to jungle dwellers, through imaginative games, creature crafts, and other animal-themed activities. On Dress-Up Day, dress as your favorite animal!

NATURE EXPLORERS: June 23-27, 2025
Kids will explore the outdoor world, what grows in the wild and more, tapping into creativity through nature-themed arts and crafts and playing sports and games. On Dress-Up Day, dress up as the color of your favorite plant or flower!

ADVENTURE LEAGUE: July 7-11, 2025
We’re brave and we’re bold! No villains stand a chance when they meet up with us. This week is dedicated to our heroes, from Spider-Man to firefighters. On Dress-Up Day, dress up as your favorite superhero or real-life hero!

ONCE UPON A DANCE: July 14-18, 2025
A morning filled with magical fun for your little prince & princesses. Come join us for a day of ROYAL themed dances, games, crafts, & a performance in the gym on Friday. This camp is all about exploring the joy and creativity of dance through music themed around princesses, princes and everything royal.

BEACH PARTY: July 21-25, 2025
Say “Aloha” to your summer at this dance camp. With beach themed games, dance and tropical activities, it will feel like paradise! This camp will be filled with lessons and games designed to instill the love of dance.

DISNEY WEEK: July 28- August 1, 2025
Dreams do come true during Disney Dance Camp because each day is a different Disney theme and dancers can dress up, make crafts and learn dances all related to the theme of the day!
