Does your child need a little boost to continue to succeed in school? Let the Y help! We offer a comprehensive tutoring program to meet your child’s every need. We have a private tutoring room and during each session, students receive support, homework help, and a safe and open space to build confidence and enhance their educational skills.
Grades: Kindergarten – 12th Grade. (college age with Dani)
Location: Le Mars YMCA Tutoring Room
Duration: Year round!
Fee for 60 minute Session: $25.00 (All credit card payments will now include a 3% service charge. Cash/Check accepted in person with no fee.)
Fee for 30 minute Session: $15.00 (All credit card payments will now include a 3% service charge. Cash/Check accepted in person with no fee.)

Tutor Name: Dani Den Ouden
Our tutor, Dani Den Ouden, is qualified to tutor students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. She is secondary certified (grades 5-12) in Math and Spanish. Tutor Name: Andrea Hulstein
Our tutor, Andrea Hulstein, is a special education/ reading intervention teacher at Gehlen Catholic schools here in Le Mars. She works with students who need additional support in reading and math throughout the school year and students who have special needs as well. She has a bachelor's degree in Special Education minor in Reading and English as a new language. She offers tutoring for grades P-6 in Reading and Math; students on IEPs and 504 are welcome! Tutor Name: Betty Loutsch
Our tutor, Betty Loutsch, is recently retired from the school system (Gehlen); working there for 18 years. She started in 2007 as a Para Educator in Kindergarten. Eventually she worked as a para in grades ranging from preschool through 10th grade; including special needs students. She is trained in PBIS (positive behavior intervention support) and worked as a coordinator at Gehlen for all three levels. She also is certified in Love and Logic.
