Classes are offered in our Upstairs Fitness Studio, Lower Fitness Studio, Gym, Indoor Pool, Community Room 1 & Pool Deck.

Class Descriptions

Boot Camp

Boot Camp workouts combine strength training & aerobic elements that will challenge every part of your body. This minimal equipment workout will challenge your strength and stamina and increase your overall fitness level.

Aqua Morning Mix

Experience the benefits of water exercise during this 45-minute functional workout. This aqua class will help you build strength to make daily activities & movements easier.

Aqua Deep

Experience a moderate intensity, low impact workout focused on challenging your cardiovascular system, core strength & muscular endurance. Flotation aids are available.

Fit for Life

This class will help you feel & be your best self. Fit for life will help improve your muscular strength, balance & cardiovascular health. All exercises can be modified to meet you wherever you are in your journey.

Pilates

Pilates is an innovative total body conditioning experience which combines stretching & strengthening the body. The series of movements promote elongated & toned muscles and is well known for developing the core of the body. This class improves strength, flexibility, balance control & muscle symmetry. Pilates is low impact & beneficial for all ages.

Zumba

Zumba is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps for a dynamic and effective workout. Our Zumba instructor changes up the music & moves frequently to make sure you are always challenges to the max!

Core Essentials

Dig out & dust off that yoga mat & fire up that core! This class focuses on strengthening the ab & back muscles while incorporating simple yet essential yoga exercises. All ability levels are welcome! A strong core is essential to a functional & healthy lifestyle, so start your Tuesdays off right with body-weight & low-weight core exercises!

 

 

 

 

Full Body Blast

Come join us for a quick 30 minute (noon) or 60 minute (evening) workout! Full Body Blast is a fast-paced class aimed at building muscle and strength. We will mostly be using free weights & body weight for our workouts.

HIIT

This full body circuit incorporates strength & endurance training that will inspire you to take on the rest of your day! Participants will use a variety of equipment including free weights, bands, barbells & more. 

Body Sculpting

Get energized during this full body workout using integrated strength exercises. Body Sculpting will utilize barbells, dumbbells, resistance bands, & more to maximize your strength training experience. Each workout is easily tailored to your fitness level & all equipment will be provided.

Classic Spin

Add a new element to your exercise program. Experience an athletic, adrenaline pumping workout using authentic cycling drills to get one of your more efficient & effective workouts ever. This class is geared to both novice & veteran members alike because you set your own pace.

Twisted Cycling

This class is similar to Group Cycling, but with a twist. Twisted combines cardio with strength by including core & other strengthening exercises with cycling intervals. This high energy class will get your heart pumping with upbeat music & great energy to get you moving. Join this calorie torching class- LET’S RIDE!

Core & More

This class will utilize Pilates principals mixed with intervals of cardio & strength training to give you a full body workout while igniting your core. Modification will be available. Build a strong core foundation with Core & More.

Balance

It’s time for greater ease, comfort, and capability in daily life. This class includes full body stretching, range of motion & exercises focused on balance & core for fall prevention.

Yoga

A mindful practice that combines breath control, flexibility, & strength-building postures. It promotes relaxation, balance, & overall wellness while improving mobility & reducing stress.

Leverage your passion for fitness to be an integral part of improving the health and well-being of our community.  Group exercise at the Y provides exercise classes to persons of a variety of ages and ability levels at various times of day throughout the week and weekend.
